raries are not made; they grow." - Augustine BirrellGroundbreaking was celebrated this morning as the children and teachers turned the soil, preparing the ground from which our new library building will grow. Teacher John Scardina led us in singing "The Library Song" - original lyrics by the Iacobucci girls set to the tune of "The Garden Song". Students also tied notes to the construction fence with good wishes for the workers who begin digging the basement tomorrow!

Thank YOU, Matt. What a wonderful ceremony this morning, with all the children's eager faces and various members of the WCFS community there to dig some dirt! You thanked a lot of people who made this day happen and we need to thank you as well. Your hard work for the school and vision of what we can create for our children have been integral to getting us to this day.
